Questions to ask when shopping for software

There are a number of software solutions available for roll-off dumpster rental companies and choosing the right one is an important decision. Over the years we have spoken to owners who have tried them all and have come up with a number of questions you should ask before making a choice.

• is there a demo I can try?
• is there a free trial?
• how much is the sign-up fee?
• is there a contract?
• can I bring my own website?
• if you build the website, who owns the domain and website?
• what happens if I want to cancel?

Facebook groups

Talking to users of the software should be a great way to get insight about a tool and the technical support, but be aware that many Facebook groups are moderated by those software companies themselves, and actively remove negative comments about their own software, or positive comments about the competition.

Google reviews

We regularly receive emails selling positive Google reviews, so be wary when reading those - especially when reviews are tightly packed together, or by accounts with only one review, etc.
